Pumpkin Coloring Pages

These pumpkin coloring pages follow a pumpkin from the seed packet to the pie dish. Some feature just one round pumpkin, with bold outlines and plenty of room for chunky crayons. Others show busy farm scenes with little pumpkins to spot.
And nobody said a pumpkin has to be orange. Try a pale green one, a white one, a striped one. Print the PDF, or color online in your browser.

Ideas for Coloring Pumpkin
- Leaves are never just one greenMix a little yellow into some pumpkin leaves and brown into others, the way they look late in the season.
- Ribs firstShade each rib a little darker along both edges and lighter in the middle, and the pumpkin turns round on the page.
- Crayon resist for the rainOn the rainy walk home, draw the raindrops in white crayon first, then brush watercolor over the sky. The drops stay white.
- White gel penOnce the markers are dry, add a thin white line to the whipped cream and to the glass of the terrarium jar, where the light would catch.
- What time of day is it in the greenhouse?Pick early morning or late afternoon and let that light tint every pane.
- Color onlineOpen the patchwork quilt in the online tool and fill whole blocks with one tap each. Changed your mind? Fill the block again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these Halloween coloring pages?
Most are not. They follow pumpkins through the season: planting, the patch, the harvest, pie and fall decorations. Jack-o'-lanterns, ghosts and witches are in the Halloween coloring pages.
How different are the pages from each other?
Quite a lot. The simplest are one big pumpkin with thick lines and a handful of large spaces. The most detailed, such as the greenhouse or the patchwork quilt, have fine lines and hundreds of small spaces.
What paper works best?
Regular printer paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils. For markers or watercolor, a heavier paper keeps the color from showing through. Every PDF prints on US Letter.
Can a page be printed more than once?
Yes. The pages are free to print, so print as many copies as you need for yourself or for your group.
